If you are a regular reader of books and feel that a tablet is overkill when all you want to do is read a book with the least amount of tablet like distractions, then this is the device for you. Otherwise, it's a great digital replacement for paper books and is far lighter and more convenient than carrying around a tablet, (especially when you need to cart around a laptop).
You quite often will need to touch the screen once, twice or even three times for it to catch. This also occurs when you are navigating from page to page. So at times when you unlock the device you will need to swipe more than once to get it started. It would've been helpful if it had hard page buttons on the left and right of the device.

The only negatives are that, due to it's awkward size it's (should've been longer with a smaller more square-ish and consistent in size bezel) it's difficult to navigate page to page while holding with one hand. The device reads very clearly and since there is no light emitting from the device there is far less eye fatigue. Unfortunately, the device has some dependency on the Barnes and Nobles book echo system which is where it falls short.
